WEBSITE REDESIGN

NEW ENVIRONMENTS

My third year university project documents life in quarantine, highlighting the shift to remote work and the isolation from the outside world. A major hurdle during this time was the unreliable internet connection. Despite this setback, I turned it into an advantage by exploring and expanding my knowledge of CSS animation. By transforming real-world landscapes into virtual realms using glitch effects caused by poor connectivity, I aimed to convey the longing for human connection and missed opportunities during lockdown. Through this project, I aimed to showcase resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges while expressing myself creatively.

‘Four Walls’ embraces the four walls that we had to adapt our learning, our work and our everyday lives to during the pandemic.

‘Landscapes’ and ‘Fomo’ Include activities and everyday normality that were stripped away from us like going for a walk at the beach, swimming in the ocean, and any water activities.

‘Fomo’ was to include the activities we get up to over the weekends, and the valuable time we take off work to go away on holiday.

Little Miss Naughty

I designed a website for my second year university project inspired by the cherished children's book series, "Little Miss" by Roger Hargreaves.
Having cherished these books in my own childhood, I carefully incorporated my favorite details and characters from the series into the website's design. My goal was to capture the playful and nostalgic essence of the "Little Miss" books, creating a visually appealing, engaging, and interactive website that would resonate with both children and adults who share a fondness for these beloved characters.
